We started out as a caving shop and, 20 + years later, this is still our main area of business.

We provide highly experienced advice and a full range of caving equipment which covers every need from novice to seasoned expeditioner.

Our staff are experienced, active cavers with a comprehensive knowledge of equipment and techniques - and full of useful advice on local caves and caving/weather conditions.

In particular we are experts in Petzl equipment (ascenders/descenders/pulleys/lamps), Edelrid, Beal and Mammut ropes, Warmbac and Meander oversuits, Dragon tacklebags and Speleotechnics FX and Ion lamps.

SRT rigs can be tried out for free on our climbing wall just down the road, where there are pre-rigged ropes with changeovers etc.
